Comprehensive Carbon Steel Flange Product Portfolio
Welding Neck Flange (WNF)
Description: Featuring a long tapered hub, WN flanges provide excellent reinforcement, making them the preferred choice for high-pressure, extreme-temperature, or severe cyclic-stress pipeline systems.
Core Applications: Midstream Oil & Gas transmission lines, high-pressure industrial steam distribution networks.
Slip-On Flange (SOF)
Description: Designed to slide smoothly over the outside of the pipe before fillet welding. They are highly cost-effective, easily aligned, and ideal for compact layout spaces.
Core Applications: Water treatment installations, municipal utility piping, and lower-pressure industrial loops.

Blind Flange (BLIND)
Description: Engineered to seal, isolate, or terminate the end of a piping system or pressure vessel nozzle opening, facilitating future inspection, line cleaning, and network expansion.
Core Applications: High-pressure vessel headers, pump filtration stations, and pipeline manifold end-caps.
Socket Welding Flange (SWF)
Description: The pipe is inserted into a precisely recessed socket before execution of the exterior fillet weld. This eliminates internal flow turbulence and avoids pocket traps.
Core Applications: Small-diameter, high-pressure hydraulic lines, chemical processing pipelines, and instrumentation networks.
Carbon Steel Material Grades & Compliance
To match your project's precise pressure requirements, fluid mediums, and environmental conditions, we forge and process a diverse range of international carbon steel material grades. Refer to the compliance matrix below to find the exact specification for your pipeline network:
|
Standard System |
Material Grade |
Service Environment & Characteristics |
Common Applications |
|
ASTM / ASME (American) |
ASTM A105 |
Industry standard for ambient and high-temperature service. Excellent weldability and stable mechanical properties. |
Process piping, refineries, steam lines, and general pressure systems. |
|
ASTM A350 LF2 (Class 1 & 2) |
Low-Temperature Carbon Steel (LTCS). Engineered with mandatory Charpy V-Notch impact testing to maintain exceptional ductility and prevent brittle fractures down to -46°C (-50°F). |
Arctic/cold climate infrastructure, oil and gas gathering in freezing regions, and cryogenic applications. |
|
|
ASTM A694 (F42, F52, F60, F65, F70) |
High-Yield Forged Carbon Steel. Formulated with higher yield strengths (up to 70,000 PSI) to handle extreme pressures without deformation. High weld-compatibility with high-strength line pipes. |
High-pressure oil and gas transmission trunklines, compressor stations, and upstream manifolds. |
|
|
EN / DIN (European) |
P245GH / P280GH |
Non-alloy quality steel designed for elevated temperature service. Certified under European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU). |
European standard pressure vessels, boiler connections, and chemical process plant piping. |
|
S235JR / C22.8 |
Standard structural carbon steel (S235JR) and normalized carbon steel (C22.8) offering cost-effective reliability for low-to-medium pressure ratings. |
General water distribution, HVAC networks, and utility piping. |
|
|
JIS (Japanese) |
SS400 / SF440A |
General structural steel (SS400) and carbon steel forgings for piping (SF440A) according to Japanese Industrial Standards. |
Industrial machinery connections, marine engineering, and Asian-market project specifications. |
Engineered Forging & Manufacturing Process
Every carbon steel flange undergoes a rigorous, fully monitored transformation pathway within our facility to guarantee structural integrity:
Raw Material Inspection & Sawing
Steel billets are verified via spectrometer testing before being cut to precise weights.
01
Induction Heating & Forging
Material is heated to precise forging temperatures and formed via closed-die presses or hydraulic rolling mills to ensure consistent grain boundaries.
02
Normalizing Heat Treatment
All A105 and LF2 flanges undergo strict normalizing thermal cycles to refine grain structure and relieve internal residual stresses.
03
Precision CNC Machining
Double-column vertical lathes and multi-spindle drilling machines finish the sealing faces (RF/RTJ) and bolt circles to tolerances tighter than ASME requirements.
04
Hard-Stamping & Coding
Tracing data, standards, grades, size, pressure, and heat numbers are permanently stamped onto the flange rim.
05
Quality Assurance & Independent Inspection Protocols
Destructive Testing
In-house Tensile testing, Charpy V-Notch impact testing (crucial for A350 LF2), and Brinell hardness testing.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) are executed to verify subsurface purity on high-pressure ratings.
100% Dimensional Audit
Strict verification of bolt hole concentricity, flange thickness, and face roughness (125-250 AARH for standard RF).
Third-Party Inspection (TPI)
We completely welcome and facilitate pre-shipment inspections by independent agencies including SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas (BV), Intertek, and Lloyd's Register.
